| The municipal government of Cieza proposes a modification of credits of more than 3.5 million euros that includes the construction of the El Jinete bridge and the remodeling of the La Arboleja Municipal Soccer Field among other investments | The local Executive has proposed a loan modification that includes several investments, some of them old demands from decades ago, such as the construction of a bridge in the El Jinete area that allows crossing between the river banks, and whose cost is estimated at 750,000 euros.In addition, the remodeling of the La Arboleja sports complex is also contemplated for an amount of 400,000 euros or the construction of a sports pavilion at the José Marín School at a cost of 500,000 euros.Likewise, items are enabled for rural roads, 60,000 euros, and for public roads 150,000, to which must be added the Works and Services Plan for a total amount of 569,308.22 euros, and with which it will act in the Municipal Swimming Pool , in the Plaza de San Juan Bosco or in the Plaza de Abastos.

It also invests in increasing the patrimony of public forest, uniting various municipal mountains, for which 50,000 euros are allocated for the acquisition of 80 hectares of significant environmental value.Apart from the aforementioned investments, the amortization of municipal debt for 939,000 euros is also contemplated, with which the City Council of Cieza continues to increase investments while reducing the debt to the minimum, practically nonexistent, of 123,000 euros.On the other hand, we must also highlight other actions such as the installation of a perimeter fence in the cave of El Arco for a value of 24,000 euros, necessary to start your tourist tour; Actions in the industrial estates for an amount of 47,000 euros, or an item of 60,000 euros to prepare a new study room in Camino de Murcia in addition to other minor issues.The mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas, made a positive assessment of the loan modification, for a total amount of 3,509,683.47 euros, of which 3,032,205.47 euros came from the liquid cash balance and 477,478 euros from the subsidy of the Works and Services Plan, and also of the projects, "since they attend to the general interest and the requests of the citizens, especially highlighting the important investment in sports facilities, and the work of the El Jinete bridge, a historical demand since decades ago and for whose work the City Council already has the availability of the land and the draft project, so this year the open bidding process for the work would begin ".Finally, the councilor for the Treasury, Antonio Ignacio Martínez-Real, indicated that this modification is possible "thanks to the fact that, on October 20, the Congress of Deputies validated the Government's proposal to eliminate the fiscal rules for 2020 and 2021, which which meant the disappearance of the spending rule that prevented city councils from spending above a limit, even if they had financial resources.
