The councilors of Citizen Participation and Finance, Conchi Villa and Antonio Martínez-Real, respectively, have announced an increase in the amount reserved for participatory budgets for 2021 by 5,000 euros compared to 2019, reaching the figure of 175,000.Villa and Martínez-Real have explained that, due to the pandemic, there are no activities, so their departure will implement in an exceptional way for 2021 that of investments.The phase to present proposals by citizens and groups will run from this Thursday, November 12 to the 22 of this month.
After this phase, a period will be opened for citizens to vote.However, the City Council began the participatory budgeting process this Tuesday night with the II Conference "Developing Participation Networks", which was held online.The day was open to all people and associations interested in improving and promoting citizen participation in relation to Participatory Budgets 2021 in Cieza.
During it, the process carried out in 2020 was also evaluated.The meeting was attended by the mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas, and was led by the councilor for Citizen Participation, Conchi Villa, who, together with technical staff, reported and responded to the questions that arose.
