For the second consecutive year, José María Cámara Salmerón won the first prize in the Photo Contest "Semana Santa de Cieza 2021" with the 2009 Coronation image, in a very peculiar act due to the pandemic that is currently devastating us. After a certainly different act since it was broadcast on-line due to Covid-19, the 2009 Coronation photograph, taken by José María Cámara Salmerón, was finally chosen from the XXXIII edition to announce the Cieza Easter Poster in 2021 , prize endowed with five hundred euros.

The second prize, endowed with three hundred euros, went to the photographer Rafel J.

Gabaldón Marín with his snapshot Starts the Via Crucis, this being the one that illustrates the cover of the Guide to Events of Holy Week in 2021.

Finally, the third Prize, endowed with two hundred euros, went to Pedro Sánchez Morcillo and his photograph A bitter look, which will be the cover of the Poster announcing the 2021 Proclamation acts. The Ruling of the Contest took place at 8:00 p.m.

on Saturday, November 14 at the Casa-Museo de la Semana Santa de Cieza.

For very different reasons, but above all for social responsibility, the Board of Passionate Brotherhoods carried out the act electronically, streaming both on the Facebook page and on the Board's own Instagram account.

During the event, 2 videos were presented; a first with all the photos submitted and later another with the 12 finalist photos.

Before the jury minutes were read, it was announced that the winners of this XXXIII Contest would be summoned as soon as the health situation allows for the awards ceremony. From these lines, the Board of Brotherhoods thanks all the sponsors who have made this event possible, as it is a starting point for the next Easter.
