| The Budgets for 2021 have already saved the first escoyo, with 198 votes in favor of 350 for its processing in Congress | Once the PGE 2021 have been presented by the Government of Spain, the Socialists of Cieza are pleased to see the inclusion in them of a game of 2,700,000 Euros for the action in what is known as "Puente de Asensao".
It must be remembered that a similar item already appeared in the 2019 budgets, but unfortunately those budgets did not go ahead as they were rejected in Congress with the vote against the right (PP, C'S and VOX) as well as by nationalist formations.
Despite all this, the Government of Spain has maintained its commitment to the city of Cieza and in the 2021 budget, a sufficient item is once again contemplated to provide a solution to an infrastructure dating from the late 19th century. Thus, from the PSOE of Cieza we ask that this time, at least the deputies of Murcia, vote in favor of solving the aforementioned problem.
Nobody would understand that our countryman Teodoro García, a deputy in the ranks of the PP, once again opposed a solution to a problem that his city has had for more than 100 years. At this time, the PGE 2021 has already passed the first process of amendments to the entirety, and 198 deputies of Congress (made up of 350) voted in favor of continuing its processing.
Taking into account the delicate times that we are living caused by the pandemic, we believe that it is a good time to show unity and that these budgets could come out with the unanimous favorable vote of the entire Congress, so we encourage the 152 deputies who have been opposing the budgets, that they look more for the general interest and give their favorable vote to some accounts that Spain needs as May water, as they are also awaiting the arrival of European funds endowed with 200,000 million euros.
Voting against the general state budgets for 2021 means voting against these European funds, against solving one of the historical problems that we have in Cieza and above all showing that it is not in the general interest.
