Saorín: "Municipal employees replace the platform at the entrance to the Rambla de El Realejo" (30/11/2020)

The Councilor for Services of the City of Cieza explains that the delay in the repair has been caused by the difficulty that the supplier of the material has had, acquired through a Cieza company and at a cost of 6,500 euros. The entrance to the Rambla del Realejo, in its first section between Juan XXIII avenue and Marín Camacho street, was covered at the time with platform, a material that has deteriorated over time until it has been necessary to replace it for months. In a press release, the Councilor for Services of the Cieza City Council, Francisco Saorín, explained that "the delay in the repair has been caused by the difficulty the supplier has had in receiving the material, since it is difficult to locate and its manufacture is in high demand so there is no stock of it.

It has been acquired through a carpentry company and has a cost of 6,500 euros plus VAT ".The mayor explained that the material, which has replaced the old platform, is a novel product, made with recycled material, which is guaranteed durability and non-adherence, which causes the cost to be higher than that of the materials conventional, such as the one it replaces. The repair has been carried out by municipal employees attached to the Department of Urban Services, both the ordering of materials and their placement, which has lowered the cost of the repair "which, logically, would have been higher if it had been awarded to a external company".Finally, Saorín explained that the initial area in all covered sections of the Rambla del Realejo must have a removable area in case at some point there is accumulation of weeds along avenues and it is necessary to enter the covered area, at the same time as respirator of the mouth of the Rambla before the arrival of avenues.

Likewise, it has specified that the two new sections that have been covered, between Calle Marín Camacho and Camino de Murcia and between this and Avenida de Abarán, also have this removable entrance, although both opted for a more affordable material as is the metal grid.Tree plantation in San José ObreroOn the other hand, Saorín has reported that the pending tree planting has been completed on all the recently remodeled streets in the San José Obrero neighborhood.

These are medium-sized trees that are planted with bare roots and are waiting for spring to begin to develop; "Trees that become part of the urban landscape and whose planting has not been carried out before in order to comply with the Master Plan for Trees in terms of species and type of tree."
