Sources from the Department of Sports of the City of Cieza indicate that last November 28 we learned about the publication of the Ministry of Tourism, Youth Sports in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia No.
277 of the Order of November 27, 2020 , which establishes the Action Protocol for sports activity in the Region of Murcia, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.Once the doubts that this publication raised were consulted through a meeting with the General Directorate of Sports, the City Council of Cieza, from the Sports Service, reported all the changes that this new Order implies in the different areas of Cieza sport, transferring to the different clubs the new criteria for training and competitions regulated in it.Within these criteria, the following should be highlighted:There is no distinction between federated sports, sports schools and extracurricular activities, being able to train without the need for a federative license. The use of the mask by athletes, technicians and referees or judges, is mandatory during training and competitions, as well as in sports schools and sports activities, which promote municipalities, clubs, entities and public sports centers and / or private.Capacity.
The number of athletes per training group or regional activity will depend on the health situation of each locality at that time.
Currently, Cieza has a medium-high incidence, so the sports facilities in Cieza will have a capacity of 50%.The public is allowed to enter sports facilities, with a capacity that will have to be approved by the General Directorate based on the health situation of the Municipality.
In this sense, the Department of Sports will allow the public to enter under strict protocol during competitions, prohibiting the public from entering the training sessions. The CARM authorizes the different sports federations to start the competitions, with which, they will begin once the different calendars are approved. In the words of the Councilor for Sports Carlos Semitiel "After the publication of this new Order regarding the sports field, once again, we have informed the different sectors of the sport from Ciez, transferring the new changes that it entails.
We are glad that the General Directorate has taken into account our proposal and has rectified, allowing both federated and non-federated athletes to enter the facilities, making sports practice accessible to all athletes.
On the other hand, I do not agree with the start of the competitions in grassroots sports, because it means breaking the bubble groups with which we are working in the different training sessions.
We continue to defend the same position, yes to safe sports practice, yes to training through established protocols, but a resounding no at the start of the grassroots sport competitions with contact until the health situation stabilizes.
However, we will be at the side of those clubs that decide to start their competitions, adapting our facilities and the protocols so that the different competitions in our facilities are carried out safely.
