| The City Council of Cieza will receive a grant of 30,000 Euros from the Government of Spain and the Ministry of Business for a project to encourage consumption in small businesses | The Local Government Board approves the project to be submitted, valued at 30,000 Euros, to the Call for grants contained in Royal Decree 164/2020, and which already has the approval of the General Directorate of Commerce. In order to alleviate the effects of the pandemic on small businesses, aid has been called for municipalities, granted directly and based on the projects presented and by population criteria.

The funds that support said aid, as stated in the grant order, are € 900,000, of which € 500,000 come from the funds of the Government of Spain "COVID-19 Fund" and the rest of the CARM's own funds. The project presented by the City Council of Cieza, "Destination: Your local trade", will see the light in the spring - summer season, starting on March 1 and will consist of a new campaign to encourage consumption in local shops, in the that all businesses in Cieza can participate. This campaign adds to all the actions that the local government is carrying out in order to support and promote a sector as important to Cieza as small businesses.
