| The popular youths denounce the appropriation by the PSOE and IU of the Popular Party project on the riverside walk | In a press release, New Generations Cieza wanted to express its disbelief at the appropriation of the project of the riverside walk of the Popular Party by the current municipal government, a project to which in its day they did nothing more than put sticks in the wheel. In addition, they worsen said project once copied, since the original of the Popular Party consisted of the extension of the riverside promenade from Cieza to Murcia, while now the project is much less ambitious, this extension remaining in Abar n. Thus, the same people who now take a Popular Party project out of the drawer to do it halfway, are the ones who did everything possible to block the construction of the current riverside promenade, being the largest investment which has been carried out in Cieza, with almost four million euros financed mainly with European funds.

The achievement of this project was possible thanks to the involvement of the current National Secretary General of the Popular Party, Teodoro García Egea. In this way, from New Generations Cieza we ask the municipal government to stop having a phobia of the Popular Party's proposals, since the only thing they seek is the good of all citizens.
