Despite the difficulties of the year 2020, by all known, and taking into account the fall in municipal income, caused in some cases by the measures adopted by the Municipal Government such as suspension of the ICIO or suppression of occupation End of the public path for tables and chairs, and caused in other cases by the temporary suspension of services or activities such as an indoor swimming pool, nursery school or occupation of the public path by the weekly market, from the Municipal Government it is reported that no deficit has been incurred and that payment to suppliers has been promptly attended, complying with the regulations. Obviously, given the circumstances, it has not been possible to close with a significant surplus, as has been customary in previous years, which would make it easier to increase investment.

However, the budget balance has been maintained and all the regulatory regulations on these issues have been complied with.

It should be remembered that in the last six years, by Intervention, not a single objection has been made to the management of the Municipal Government, which proves the good work in the management of payment records.

It should be noted that this Government has also launched a model of greater control in the audit with the intention of continuing to improve, especially in the management of contracts and European funds where the controls of the public are more demanding.

Equally,the Cieza City Council continues to manage European funds properly and without qualms from other higher administrations. Despite the fact that from the PP, given its lack of alternative, it is intended to sow doubts in the management of the Government, the numbers are incontestable and the reality is an exemplary management where despite the unfavorable circumstances they are addressed services, investment is increased, European funds are managed, suppliers are paid within the established period and taxes are also reduced.

The proof that the management is incontestable is that despite the fact that the PP is dedicated to sowing doubts, finally they tend to end up supporting, or at least not opposing, the vast majority of the proposals that this Government moves to plenary session.
