| GM VOX motions will be focused on DANA damages and on reserving space for medical transport | The Municipal Group VOX Cieza will carry out two proposals aimed at improving social welfare for the next ordinary plenary session. In one of them, the aim is to solve the damages caused by DANA in 2019, which, after a year and a half, continue to go unattended. This neglect on the part of the Department of Services and Traffic has caused unrest among affected residents, businessmen and road users. It is not the first time that the neighbors show their annoyance with the damages caused by this storm and that are still latent today. The specific cases to be addressed are: the communication route between the urbanization and the town of Ascoy (Paseo de los Olmos) and two breaks in a street in the Sierra Ascoy industrial estate. This last location also creates difficulties for other users to circulate due to the parking of trucks for loading and unloading. What the Municipal VOX Group proposes is the asphalting in a period not exceeding 30 days of both damaged sections, since the obligation to conserve and maintain public property assets is inescapable. Proposal to know the viability of reserving public space for ambulances In addition, and in response to citizen demand in order to satisfy their needs, the proposal is presented in full to know the viability of a reserve of public space for the parking of medical transport in local clinics with loading and unloading needs. There are several local clinics that do not have such an area, which affects both the difficulty of circulation of vehicles, creating traffic jams and narrowing of the road, and that of pedestrians, since when parking the sanitary transport on the sidewalks prevents their correct movement. All this without forgetting that within these transports there are patients who must be treated with the highest possible quality of care, ensuring their safety.
