The Councilor for Health and Public Health of the City of Cieza, Francisco Saor n, reports that this Tuesday the BORM has published an Order of the Ministry of Health by which 36 municipalities of the Region, including Cieza , they go back to phase 2 due to the increase in infections. The numbers of the coronavirus in the Region of Murcia do not stop increasing worryingly.

According to the data offered this Monday, on Sunday there were 667 new infections detected with PCR tests and antigen tests, which is the highest number reached on a Sunday since the pandemic began.

Thus, the Region reached 9,234 people affected by Covid-19. In the last month, the number of infected has tripled in the Region.

Furthermore, during this same period of time the cumulative incidence rate has multiplied by 2.6.

Also, the positivity rate continues to be very high, standing at almost 18%, while the pressure on hospitals to care for the most serious patients continues to increase. With regard to the municipality of Cieza, the number of active cases due to Covid-19 stood at 200 this Monday, with 5 positive and no cured in the last 24 hours, while the n The number of hospitalized patients rose to 13.

Regarding the accumulated incidence per 100,000 inhabitants in the last seven and fourteen days, the locality reached 411.6 and 625.9 cases, respectively.
