The Council of Employment and Economic Development, after the framework agreement signed in its day between the City Council of Cieza and the Regional Federation of Metal Entrepreneurs of Murcia (FREMM), reports on the programming of formation with which this entity will begin the year, being of interest to the aforementioned population. The training is aimed at unemployed young people in general and the long-term unemployed, has a transport grant and is fully funded by the Employment and Training Service. These training actions are aimed at obtaining certificates of professionalism and are completed with a module of internships in companies, with which students will increase their training and improve their personal development while finishing their training.

The number of participants for each training action is 15 students maximum. The training offered by this body for the entire year 2021 includes different training actions for professional families, Transport and Maintenance, Energy and Water, Electricity and Electronics, Mechanical Manufacturing, Administration and Management and Commerce and Marketing. The deadlines to participate in the different training actions are open, so applications to participate in the courses can now be sent.

The training will begin on February 1 with the course 'Auxiliary maintenance operations in electromechanics of vehicles' and 'Auxiliary warehouse activities'. It is necessary to indicate that the training actions are within the demands collected in the rounds of visits established by the Plan for the Promotion of Local Development (PdDL), "betting on meaningful training, that is, oriented towards what sued by local businesses ". Finally, it is necessary to note that the metal sector in the Region represents 10% of its Gross Domestic Product.
