The Department of Women and Equal Opportunities of the City of Cieza, has reported participation CAVI Cieza, through their social worker, at a seminar held at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Arts of Murcia "La Merced" last 18th of February.
The seminar entitled "Perspectives on Gender Violence" GBV analyzed from different academic perspectives: History, Art History, Criminology and Social Work, concluding the day with a round table invited reflection and debate on this subject so deep social and cultural depth.
"The academic ceremony" note from the Department of Women, "featured a large participation, about a ninety people, both citizens in general and university students (Art History, Social Work, History, etc. ) ".
It brought, Professor of Contemporary History at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Murcia, Dr. Cristina Roda Alcantud, who presented the "Historical Perspectives of Different Gender Violence";
Licensed in Art History at the Faculty of Arts at the University of Murcia, Dr. Dolores Cantero Peñalver, who showed us the vision that exists "from the sacred to the profane: misogyny and sexism through image";
criminologist, an expert in intelligence, forensics, victimology and human rights, Dr. Jerónima CREPI Matas, who explained the "family violence: wife beating and other types of domestic violence";
Dr. Isabel Gómez Marin, who played the "Theories and concepts of gender and gender violence";
Social Worker of the CAVI of Vega Alta, Diploma in Social Work, Saorín Cristina Candel, who presented "The Intervention of Social Work at the Domestic Violence: the CAVIS" and seven students of the fourth year of the Degree in History from the University Murcia, who closed the seminar with a round table presented the different ways of using the female body and feminine through the comics, in advertisements, songs, movies, etc.
