Cieza City Council has initiated the necessary steps to request the Government Delegation in Murcia installing a permanent unit in the town of Cieza Aliens and Documentation.
This unit, assume police duties on foreigners and documentation, as well as the processing and issuance of documentation and control of Spanish foreign nationals.
Councilwoman General Administration, Maria Jesus Lopez, argued the decision of the government team based on the needs that have been observed in these months of government, where the team that comes to complete processing of ID and passport is insufficient due the large population that has the municipality.
Numerous residents of Cieza who can not wait for the appointment provided to them and they have to travel to Murcia to obtain documentation.
In order to provide better service to the residents of Cieza, which would also extend to the residents of the region, this request is made, making available to the Government Office, all necessary assistance for this request is addressed.
The government team is confident that the installation of the office in Cieza will soon become a reality, and it involves the first step to give the municipality a number of services, which population and being head of region should have installed.
