The Department of Works and Services, led by Francisco Saorín, has submitted two projects to the Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment, so that both projects become a reality.
The plan aims to improve connections to debug systems and thus improving the environmental quality of water.
To Saorín, "This is an important step in achieving these demands neighborhood step since, the City Council, we are aware of the many problems caused to the residents of both enclaves, not only smells, but also the overflow of the manholes when sporadic torrential rains occur. "
Therefore, it has been forwarded to the Ministry of Water, Agriculture and Environment information to raise funds for the construction of two collectors, one connecting the sewerage Ascoy from the area of La Barratera (area Ventorrillo) to General wastewater collection, and another that would connect the core of the village of Maripinar with said general collector.
Councilman IU-Green recalls that "the origin of the problem Ascoy is in the construction of the outfall sewage, deficient work, the result of the management of bad leaders, whose pipe is larger in diameter than the manifold which connects, producing funnel effect and problems of overpressure generated by sewage overflows, mainly in summer. also, the collector of Maripinar is a necessity demanded by a group of neighbors that exceed 25 homes, and today still without service basic sewage ".
Thus says Saorín that "expects the Concierge Water, Agriculture and Environment is aware of both problems, and both projects are included in the II Plan of cleansing and purifying of the Region of Murcia, in order to solve these problems as the residents of both areas need and deserve that the City Council of Cieza we ensure them the same health conditions as other citizens.
