Following the demand of many youth groups, the Youth Council held Saturday at the College Geronimo Belda a training and convivial meeting to provide these associations of tools that will be useful in their daily lives and for the development of their activities and management.
Another objective was to train them in the search for resources and support.
On the other hand, the Department considered "very positive" that the representatives of the different groups will enjoy a day of coexistence between them where they could interact and exchange information on their experiences, in order to establish links and ties that may be crucial to a collaboration between the various associations they represent.
The head of the area, Maria Ramos, said that "we know that youth associations in Cieza is very active and it is a shame there are not more collaboration among youth groups. Therefore, this first meeting is marked as targets training and interrelation to coordinate joint activities. "
The meeting was attended by about twenty young people from associations such as OJE, Scout, Youth Red Cross, YS, IU Youth, Volunteers Empedrá and Siyâsa, among others.
Ramos thanked the good reception given among the groups the proposal from the council and concluded by stressing that "it is important that within the associative world count with young people willing to unite around common interests, because in this way the myths that speak are torn down that youth will only thing.
