Emergency services have had to rescue this morning and attend a hiker who was injured while walking near the Cerro de la Atalaya, in the municipality of Cieza.

The 1-1-2 received, at 8.45 am, the call from one of the group members who had left with the injured.

He said that the injured had suffered a fall and could have a broken leg.

Local police to the scene, firefighters Consortium for Fire Fighting and Rescue Region of Murcia and a Mobile Emergency Health Service Murciano mobilized.

After reaching the place emergency services, the wounded, a boy of 65, was stabilized and moved to where waiting for the ambulance, which took him to hospital "Lorenzo Guirao" of Cieza with serious wounds prognosis.
