The Department of Social Welfare, through the Red Cieza Children in collaboration with UNICEF, held a solidarity march on Friday under the name 'Drops for Niger' for the children in Niger and Water Program.
The educational community and the social fabric of Cieza, made it clear this day their solidarity and support for children in Niger in poverty, where children are encuentranafectados disproportionately from poverty and deprivation of their basic rights.
Participation in the march was very large and was attended by a significant number of schools, which gathered some 1,100 participants (Colegio Antonio Buitrago, Buen Pastor, Juan Ramon Jimenez, Mother of the Divine Pastor, Miguel de Cervantes, Pedro Rodriguez , Santo Cristo del Consuelo and the Secondary Los Albares) as well as associations and social centers Fundacion Los Albares, Women's associations, the Senior Center, representatives of various political groups, and anyone who wanted to join this day.
The march was divided into two stages.
At first, the students of Primary ran around Paseo, giving one or two turns at the same depending on age.
And a second half in which they were protagonists secondary school students and associations, institutions and political groups and those who wanted, running around and walk the rest, made unrecorrido by Esquina del Convento, Murcia Road, Street Numancia, Pablo Iglesias, Montiel district, Alley Tiznaos, Spain square, Good Success, General Ruiz, and again Esquina Paseo del Convento.
For the proper development of the activity, he had the collaboration of a large number of professionals and services that Cieza Children Network has conveyed its gratitude.
The same has been extended to all members who participated in the strategic organization: the local police in the person out Pascual López Zamorano, Moses Santos (Leisure Educa), Juan Martinez (Avennatura), Manolo Martinez (Ciezaps Association), Diego López (José Marín College) and Paco Aroca (CAVI).
