The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia has developed an investigation to locate and arrest the perpetrator of a robbery committed in the private offices of the chapel of Santo Cristo del Consuelo de Cieza, which has led to the arrest of a person suspicion of robbery with violence and intimidation.
The arrested, with a hefty criminal record, entered in custody.
The investigation began when the Civil Guard became aware of the assault, suffered in the early hours of June 10 in the chapel of Santo Cristo del Consuelo de Cieza, committed by a person who agreed to the establishment, intimidated sisters residing in the place and stole 20 euros.

Meritorious collected information concerning the event, which meant finding out that the incident occurred about five in the morning when an individual was caught red-handed by one of the sisters in the kitchen of the particular premises where they reside.
This person grabbed the victim to prevent alerted the rest, which despite two companions went to the room.
Finally, the latter were threatened with death if they did not hand him money that were available, while retaining one of them wielding a large screwdriver.
The assault ended when one of the women gave him a ticket for 20 euros.
The investigations carried out by the researchers determined that one of the doors of the chapel had been forced open with a screwdriver or a similar sharp object and that the perpetrator was a male, about 40 years with tattoos on his arms, which led the research to a resident of the municipality who had recently been released from prison.
A week after the commission of the robbery, police surveillance devices and search bore fruit with the location and arrest of the suspect in Cieza.
The research culminated in the elucidation of the crime under investigation and the bringing to justice of the arrested man, aged 42, Spanish and resident of Cieza suspicion of robbery with violence and intimidation.
The detainee and the proceedings initiated have been made available to the Court of Instruction No. 4 of Cieza (Murcia), whose owner ordered its income in custody.
