The kitchen fascinates children and adults is something that today can not be doubted.
Maria Jesus Lopez, Councillor of Trade of the City of Cieza commitment to fashion the kitchen with the celebration of the second recipe contest ChitoChef that a great success in its first edition that took place during the festivities last year.
This second edition is filled with many improvements, among them some surprise as the assistance of a special guest, the TV game show contestant Madrid Junior MasterChef Mauro Rodriguez, who will be sworn and cook in Cieza ChitoChef 2016.
The second edition of this recipe contest will take place on August 29, included in the schedule of festivities in honor of San Bartolomé.
This year due to the large share of the first edition was held in the Plaza of Spain at seven pm and a limited number of participants.
The participants, aged between 8 and 13 years will have to make a recipe indicated by the organization in the shortest possible time and with the ingredients provided by the Market.
Interested parties may compete in pairs or individually, provided they enter the registration period, and age are prepared on the bases.
This year the competition goes a step further, giving the possibility that the participants have developed a hot dish, and will not have to be accompanied by adults.
They will be the protagonists themselves.
Mauro Rodriguez, the boy Junior MasterChef will support the contestants and the jury will decide which dish for taste, presentation, time used for implementation and originality will be the winner.
The number of cooking stations to participate is 20, so up to 40 children may participate if they register in pairs.
The awards have the cooperation of traders in the Market Square # 1 of Cieza, shopping baskets consist of those posts and various baskets with kitchen utensils.
Children who want to register should do so between 8 and 22 August in the register of the City of Cieza and bases are available on the council itself and on the website www.cieza.es
Meanwhile Councilwoman Maria Jesus Lopez says that "I hope that the contest has a great reception among foodies and enjoy this new enhanced edition in which boys and girls can demonstrate their skills as chefs."
