The Museum of Cieza Esparto has been essential and inescapable part in shooting in our area of ​​an audiovisual production whose purpose is historically recreate the work related to the Esparto.
He has advised technically to the producer and has selflessly given also its facilities, funds, machinery and equipment for the realization of this documentary.
A filmic recreation in which both exterior scenes of esparteros starting Esparto, shot in the foothills of Picarcho, like the interior of "rastrillaores", "picaoras" or "hilaores", taken on the premises of the Museum have sought to fit most closely as possible to historical reality.
Not the first time the Esparto Museum offers an audiovisual production funds and materials.
He did twelve years ago when Juan Salmeron went to Tele Network magnificent documentary "Atochas and espartizales" and does it again now for the Bravo production rolling with funds from the Autonomous Community a documentary on silk and esparto in our region .
And just as it did then, those associated with the Museum, former esparteros and members of the Club Atalaya, have offered their collaboration and advice on a project that will help disseminate and publicize the culture of Esparto, a hallmark for decades of our town.
The Community, through the Integra Foundation, working in various audiovisual productions on regional heritage.
The documentary about the Esparto will last about 45 minutes, and will be released on DVD in Spanish and English.
It is, according to those responsible for the project, "audiovisual allow us to know in great detail our heritage and broadcast it over the Internet to be accessible, not only for Murcia, but for anyone who wants to know more about our Earth".
At the end of this year all these productions will be finished to proceed to its release and dissemination throughout 2017.
