Citizens will propose the implementation of a Strategic Sports Plan for the locality, "which will meet the needs in this area and also serve as a basis for a reorganization of existing facilities, in order to better meet the demands of the various Clubs and associations existing in Cieza ", says the local spokesman of the formation, Óscar Verdejo.
The initiative, which will be defended tomorrow in plenary in the form of a motion for the reorganization, investment and maintenance of the current sports facilities, seeks an "effective management" of the current resources and its opening to associations linked to sports such as rugby, Tennis or cycling among others.
According to Verdejo, "the current planning is lacking and is acting without guidelines in the medium and long term."
The spokesman said that the initiative seeks first "to make a diagnosis of the current situation that serves as a basis for effective management in the horizon of a decade."
This diagnosis would include an inventory of the facilities and their use, as well as an analysis of the real needs "in order to adapt the supply and demand, in case a new distribution of the use according to the needs of the protected sport" , Greenjo said.
