The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has developed the operation 'URGENCIAS', aimed at clarifying a serious crime of damages against an ambulance in Cieza, which has resulted in the arrest of one person and the investigation of another, both as alleged perpetrators Of the facts.
Last Thursday, February 2, the Benemérita initiated an investigation after being alerted that an ambulance had been intentionally damaged while attending an emergency in Cieza.
Apparently, the vehicle with its endowment was located at the Cieza Oeste Health Center to transport a seriously ill patient suffering from second-degree atrioventricular block (angina pectoris).
Upon leaving the health center with the patient, the medical personnel found that the ambulance intended to move the patient had been intentionally damaged on three of his four tires, which prevented him from continuing his duties.
In view of the serious emergency situation, a priority was requested, through the Emergency Coordination Center 1-1-2 of the Region of Murcia, to send an EMU based in Molina de Segura to move the patient to a hospital Of the capital, a route during which the vehicle was escorted by agents of the Civil Guard until its arrival at the intended destination.
The investigators carried out a technical-ocular inspection of the vehicle, which showed that three of the four tires of the ambulance had been intentionally cracked, and evidence was obtained to identify the perpetrators.
After several information, analysis and study of images two people have been identified, one of whom, after obtaining all the necessary indications, has been arrested, while the second has been investigated, both as alleged perpetrators of serious crime of damages.
