The CAVI (Dependent of the Directorate General of Women, Region of Murcia), reports that this week took place in the Social Center of Older People of Las Morericas an awareness of equal opportunities for the participants in the project Intergenerational project to be carried out in collaboration with the Murcia Association of Volunteers AMUVIN and Obra Social 'la Caixa' and the educational centers of Cieza, given by CAVI technicians (legal adviser and social worker) to carry out the New project 'Stories for Good Treatment'.
The objective of this project is for the elderly to represent through a play in the educational centers the story 'Is there anything more boring than being a pink princess?'.
I want to work with the gender roles imposed by society, stereotypes, machismo, sexism, etc., to encourage future generations to be more egalitarian in the treatment of others and, thus, prevent Relationships that trigger gender violence.
It is planned to begin with this play for the spring of this year with all primary and child schools.
