About 50 neighbors, including representatives of communities and private individuals, were informed and were able to clarify their doubts about access to subsidies for the rehabilitation of their homes.
On Wednesday, an informative talk about the ARRU program for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of housing held at the IES Diego Tortosa was attended by dozens of people, including representatives of blocks of dwellings and privately, at a ceremony attended by the councilor of IU -Verdes and responsible for Town Planning, Housing and Works and Services of the City of Cieza, Francisco Saorin, and the municipal architect, Ignacio Rodríguez.
Saorin, supported by the municipal technician, explained that the neighborhood meeting had two objectives.
"First, report on the meeting held in the Autonomous Community last February 6 on the call for grants for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of housing in the program 2017, which is in the draft phase, and, secondly, collect The interest of the neighbors to take part in it, so that municipal technicians can delimit the areas of the urban center so that no interested party is left out of the call, as has happened in previous years.
Of the 2017 project project, Saorín stressed that "the subsidies, which can reach 35% of the total cost of the work with a maximum of 14,850 euros per house, will be borne by the State and the CCAA, having to contribute the rest individuals".
He also explained that the program could include the "common and exterior spaces of buildings, such as facades and terraces, heating and quality improvements and sustainability and access (elevators)".
Likewise, the Councilor for Housing, always assisted by the municipal technician, explained that the applications will be approved by order of petition and that the communities of neighbors constituted or in the process of constitution will need the prior agreement of the owners of the housing And that the maximum execution period will end in May 2018.
After the presentation of the Councilor for Housing, a dozen attendees took the floor to raise doubts on the issue, which were resolved by the municipal technician.
Finally, Francisco Saorin asked the interested attendees to leave their name, street and telephone so that municipal technicians could delimit the areas that have to contemplate the project presented by the City before the Community so that no neighbor who wants to take shelter The program is out of it.
He also insisted that the doors of his council "are open" to resolve the doubts that have on the part of the interested parties, who will be taken care of by the municipal architects and by himself.
