In the last decade, we have witnessed in the Region of Murcia the embarrassing spectacle of corruption in the governments of the PP, throughout the Region we have seen one after another as cases of corruption sprinkled our institutions.
Recently, we see how even the President of the Region is being investigated.
For this reason, the PSOE of Cieza has sent a press release, in which it says that the "Auditorium Case" is added to a long black list of cases like "Umbra", "Novo Carthago", "Punic" or Of Desaladoras.
An endless number of illustrious PP officials seriously imputed, such as Camera, Barreiro, Marques, Cerdá, Juan Carlos Ruiz, and a long etc.
And all this without forgetting the existence of ex-alcaldes condemned as the one of Totana, or the one of Fortuna by purchase of votes, among others.
In this context, the most serious is that it is not surprising that the President of the Region is also under investigation.
The PSOE de Cieza, wants to make clear that respects the presumption of innocence of any citizen who is being subjected to criminal proceedings, and that in the case of the President of the Region we want the criminal truth clarified as soon as possible.
While in this matter, the socialists of Cieza have to demand that the PP assume responsibility for the number of lies and falsehoods with which they have tried to "protect" their new investigated.
The right of the Region has lied repeatedly when it has said that the PSRM had submitted 17 complaints to Pedro Antonio Sánchez, something totally false that already clarified even Prosecutor López Bernal in his statements after he ceased his position.
For the PSOE de Cieza, the PP must assume responsibilities, since the case "Auditorium" has become an institutional scandal.
And we say that it is an institutional scandal because of the public demonstrations carried out by Sanchez himself, where he presumed to know beforehand the criteria of several Prosecutors of the Supreme, and all this with the collaboration of the Minister of Justice.
It is an institutional scandal what happened with Prosecutor López Bernál, who, once dismissed, has revealed the persecutions and difficulties suffered by those who fight against corruption.
To all this, we add the attempts of manipulation carried out by Pedro Antonio Sánchez, who gave his word that he would resign if he was imputed and later is excused first alleging that they are not corruption offenses (he is investigated for continued prevarication, embezzlement Of public funds, fraud and documentary misrepresentation), and after that it is not formally imputed, something that is not sustained since it has been declared by the Judge as investigated (previously imputed) for specific crimes and with obligation to assist with lawyer.
For the socialists of Cieza, Pedro Antonio Sánchez not only fails to comply with his word, but also fails to comply with the Transparency Law that he supported.
For all this, the PP is required to remove the mask of corruption, to stop inventing excuses to protect the public offices investigated and to once and for all take the path of regeneration.
