The Confraternity of the Holy Christ of the Consuelo de Cieza, in order to promote devotion to our venerated image, convokes this X PRIZE OF PHOTOGRAPH according to the following bases:
PARTICIPANTS: They will be able to attend the X PHOTOGRAPHY AWARD "SANTO CRISTO DEL CONSUELO DE CIEZA", both amateur and professional photographers, excluding the members of the Board of Directors of the Brotherhood.
Registration will be free.
There will be a limit of 12 photographs per author.
THEME: The subject of the photographs will be the image of the Holy Christ of the Conscience of Cieza.
Also valid are those photos that reflect any moment of the processions parades and transfers organized by the Brotherhood, although there is the image of the Holy Christ.
ORIGINALITY OF THE WORK: All works must be original, not presented in any other contest and are free of rights that they could hold in third parties.
Photographs that may have been previously reproduced in the press, magazines, catalogs, web pages or any other type of publication will not be selected.
If a photographer were awarded and subsequently verified this limitation, the author must return the prize.
TECHNIQUE: It can be conventional, digital or mixed, being admitted photomontage or photo collage.
In color, black and white or other color effects.
Horizontal or vertical format.
PRESENTATION: The photographs will be presented only and exclusively in a size of 30x40 cm.
(NO UPPER SIZE IS ADMITTED), each author attaching a CD with the photographs presented in digital format jpg, tiff or gif of a minimum resolution appropriate for reproduction in size A-4.
If the photograph is not digital the negatives of the same will be presented, the photographs can not be signed by the authors.
IDENTIFICATION: With each photograph the author will complete a closed sketch where the following data must appear.
Full name of the author, address, telephone number and name of the photograph, if applicable.
Works that are not properly identified will not be admitted to competition.
ADMISSION TERM: It will be between May 29 and June 1, 2017 (both inclusive), from 19:00 to 21:00 hours, at the address of this Brotherhood in the street Letters n ° 18 under-
JURY: The jury will be appointed by the Board of Directors of the Confraternity of the Holy Christ of Consuelo de Cieza and will make a previous selection for its public exhibition in the "La Pecera" room of the Museo Siyasa de Cieza, between June 7 and 23 Of June of 2017, in the opening hours of the Museum.
Once the exhibition is finished, the photographs will be displayed on the website of the Guild.
PRIZE: The following prizes will be awarded: HONOR PRIZE: 500 euros Accesit 1: 300 euros Accesit 2: 200 euros In order to encourage participation, no photographer will be eligible for more than one prize.
If none of the winners were under the age of 18, a YOUNG AUTHOR PRIZE, with an amount of 100 euros, will be established, in addition to the previous prizes.
FAILURE OF THE JURY: It will be held on Thursday June 1, 2017 and the awards ceremony on Friday, June 2, 2017 in Caja Murcia cultural classroom at 20:30 hours, the winners must be present at the event
RIGHTS RESERVATION: The winning works will be part of the artistic funds of the Guild.
They will not be able to use them without the authorization of the Brotherhood.
The rest of works presented and not awarded will be at the disposal of their authors.
A period of one month is established for the collection of the photos, after that time they will remain in the property of the Brotherhood.
In both cases, the digital or negative format of all photos remain the property of the Cofradía, with the same right reserved for reproduction and dissemination of works, with explicit mention of the author.
At the discretion of the Jury these awards may be declared deserted.
The decision of the Jury will be final.
This Cofradía will put the same zeal and care of the works received, but declines all responsibility derived from the loss and deterioration of the same.
The participation in X Prize of Photography "SANTO CRISTO DEL CONSUELO DE CIEZA", implies total acceptance of these bases.
Any unforeseen circumstances will result from the Jury.
