The City of Cieza has received a grant from the Regional Employment and Training Service of 355,725.36 euros for the rehabilitation project of the former court of Cieza, located in the corner of the Convent and in disuse for years.
The more than 800 square meters of its three floors will become units of local administration, centralizing the main processing and management services for citizens.
The idea is to create a center of attention to the citizen by agglutinating and centralizing various services currently dispersed in different points of the locality, such as Urbanism, Cadastre, General Registry and Single Window, among others.
The ground floor will gather the services of Registry, Register, Cadastre, Office of the Consumer and Single Window, as well as points of attention for Taxes and Collection;
The first floor will be composed of all departments of Urbanism, Works and Services, and the second floor will have the services of Inspection and Sanctions, New Technologies and other positions of Collection and Taxes.
The inauguration of the program was carried out by the Mayor and Councilor for Employment, Mr Pascual Lucas and Mr Antonio Moya, respectively, yesterday at the premises of the Council of Employment of the City Council of Cieza.
Employment for 24 people
Both explained that this is a mixed program of employment and training in which 24 unemployed people, aged 25 or more, will work for 12 months, which is the time of execution of the project, and will receive their corresponding accreditation at the end of the work .
This team will be joined by teaching and coordination staff.
The City Council will put a € 136,000 item for the materials needed to carry out the work.
The program consists of three workshops;
One of finished carpentry and furniture, with a certificate of professionalism level 2 with 6 seats;
The second, of auxiliary operations of continuous coatings under construction, with a level 1 professional certification with 12 places, and finally a third one of auxiliary operations of assembly of electrotechnical and telecommunications installations in buildings with a certificate of professionalism of level 1 with 6 seats.
In this way, students will be allowed to successfully complete these actions to accredit a professional qualification of the National Catalog of Professional Qualifications, thus increasing the professional curriculum.
As an official document, it is valued in any selection process convened by public administrations and professionally accredited to the private company.
This mixed program of employment and training will last one year, during which students will be hired by the City Council through a contract for training and learning.
Councilor Antonio Moya said that the building, "after having been unsuccessfully sold for years as a future police station, after a long period of neglect and forgetfulness, thanks to the work of the current government team, will become a nerve center that will facilitate the Life to the citizens in terms of management and daily administrative procedures. Improvement of services and reduction of unemployment rate
