The Plenary of the City of Cieza has given the green light to the approval of the new fiscal ordinance that will regulate the use of municipal sports facilities from next September.
There are three fundamental lines that inspire the new wording and the modifications proposed:
A) Simplification of tariffs that favor the more efficient management of services, making them more accessible to citizens.
B) Elimination of tariffs, drastically reduces the number of tariffs that goes from 164 to 60 and adapt them to the demands of citizens, reducing by 50 percent the rates of celebrations of the local leagues of football and futbol seven.
C) Standardization of the categories of tariffs (from eight categories to two), as a criterion regulating the principle of economic capacity.
Among the innovations introduced, the new ordinance for the first time provides for the exemption of the fees to the disabled centers, so that free entry of persons with disabilities belonging to these entities and local associations of disabled persons is regulated for the celebration of a Weekly session in the heated pool.
On the other hand, the free entrance to the swimming pools of the sports center Mariano Rojas is established for all children under 5 years.
At the same time, it also regulates for the first time the free use of heated pool facilities for those athletes who are recognized by the CSD and / or CARM as high performance or high level athletes, as well as the use by the agents Of the Local Police, Civil Guard, Fire and Civil Protection that serve in Cieza for the physical preparation necessary for the performance of their duties.
It is also decreed the gratuity of the use of municipal sports facilities by the local schools, during school hours, substantially lowering the rate for the use of the heated pool.
In relation to local sports competitions, a 50 percent reduction in the amount of local league football and soccer leagues 7 is applied and a reduced rate is included for the organization of twelve- and twenty-four-hour soccer tournaments Room and football 7 by entities and sports clubs that in the current year's season have registered at least one team in official competition in that sport.
With regard to the indoor heated pool, new forms of fertilizers and entrances are created that offer more flexibility to the users.
This new offer responds to the demands and suggestions collected by the staff of the sports service during the time of operation of the heated pool and enables new modalities of use, adapting better to the needs of users.
Among the novelties is the possibility of using the facilities during the months of July and August, or the new seasonings that can be consumed throughout the season, among others.
The entry into force of the new ordinance next September "will allow a better service, more efficient and accessible for all citizens, without increasing prices and reducing rates."
This measure aims to facilitate access to the practice of sports in municipal sports facilities, encouraging this healthy habit in the local population, "with objective criteria of economic capacity and social protection that make this objective compatible with the Sustainable maintenance of the sports facilities of our city ".
The modification of the Sports Facilities Utilization Ordinance is added to the boost given to the recovery of subsidies to sports clubs, which "will continue to be a reality this year, improving facilities or supporting sporting events such as the Spanish championships Of men's and women's children's tennis and the women's soccer field that put Cieza at the head of the Region of Murcia in promotion of the sport, especially the one destined to the smallest ones with the recent contribution also of material to the participating schools of the city in The local and regional sport competitions of school age ".
