The program of social dynamization of the neighborhoods, promoted by the councils of Culture and Citizen Participation, managed once again to unite the good atmosphere, cousine gastronomy and music in the Park of the Toro.
The good atmosphere and the neighborhood brotherhood were the tonic of a day in which, on the one hand, a contest of snails was celebrated, one of the ciezano dishes par excellence, and later, the concert of the local group 'Richard and the always'.
In the jury of the contest, in addition to the councilors of Citizen Participation and Culture, Nerea Martinez and Maria Ramos, respectively, counted on the inestimable presence of Piedad, popularly known as "the queen of the snails".
The best dish of snails in broth was that of María Pascuala López Buitrago, and had as a prize a dinner for two people, while the category of snails in tomatoes, was won by Piedad Balsalobre Ortíz, who got a double entry for a Theater show Capitol.
The program 'Tírate al Barrio' aims to strengthen neighborhood relations and bring culture to the streets, two of the firm bets of this government, with the invaluable collaboration of neighborhood associations, in this case, that of San José Obrero .
