The Minister of Finance and Public Administrations, Andrés Carrillo, held a meeting this morning with the Mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas, and the Director of the Tax Agency, Isaac Sanz, to study the collaboration and support of the Council to the City Council to delegate In the Tax Agency of the Region of Murcia (ATRM) the management of municipal taxes, which can be reflected in the scope of executive collection and management and liquidation skills.
The consistory of Cieza would thus join the agreement on tax matters maintained by the Community with 32 municipalities and which contributes to optimize its management and offer the best services to citizens.
The Minister of Finance stressed that "the regional government provides the municipalities with material, human and financial means to improve the management and tax collection of municipalities and support the local administration."
The regional administration offers the management of municipal taxes, which means a saving of costs for municipalities, at the same time as they provide specialized technical staff.
In addition, this system allows citizens to access a personalized payment plan, which offers to defer them for up to 12 months without interest.
Among the main taxes delegated by the city councils are Real Estate (IBI), Economic Activities (IAE) and the Tax on Mechanical Traction Vehicles (IVTM), among others.
The ATRM currently has a network of 29 offices spread throughout the Region, where a comprehensive tax service is provided, where the neighbors can make their arrangements in any of the offices of the ATRM, just as it would in their municipality.
In addition, the Agency makes available to municipalities and taxpayers the Virtual Office, through which you can carry out telematic actions such as payments over the Internet, deferrals and payment splits or requests for information, among others.
