The Civil Guard of the Region of Murcia has carried out an investigation to clarify the commission of a robbery with violence in the town center of Cieza, which has culminated, thanks to the citizen collaboration, with the identification, location, arrest and entry into Imprisonment of the alleged offender.

The investigation began at the beginning of the month, when the Benemérita detected the commission of a theft with violence and intimidation in Cieza, making numerous efforts in the surroundings of the place of the event with the purpose of clarifying it and arresting its author.

The robbery took place at dawn and in a central street of the town.

Apparently, the author was circulating with a vehicle until he located a viable victim and, using the darkness of the night and the scarce presence of people who could identify him, assaulted his target.

With excessive violence he assaulted the victim until he managed to reduce it, snatched the cash and a mobile phone he was carrying at that moment and fled the place.

Agents specialized in prevention of citizen security carried out numerous investigations that bore fruit shortly after, thanks to the collaboration of the citizen was able to identify a young man who, presumably, could find himself behind the authorship of the robbery.

After obtaining all the necessary information, the Civil Guard established a search device on the suspect, because he was in an unknown whereabouts, which has culminated in his location and arrest as alleged perpetrator of robbery with violence and intimidation.

The 30-year-old Spanish detainee, a neighbor of Lorca and with a long criminal record, along with the investigations, has been placed at the disposal of the Court of Instruction of Cieza (Murcia), which has ordered the arrest.
