Beginning this week, two working groups will be involved in order to adapt these ordinances to the existing reality in the municipality and harmonize the citizen's coexistence with the hotel activities.

The mayor of Works and Infrastructure, Francisco Saorin, stated that "this week work begins with two groups, one for each ordinance, which will have members of all political groups with municipal representation, and in the case of the Ordinance of Occupation of the Public Road with Tables and Chairs, with the Association of Hosteleros de Cieza ".

The purpose of these working groups is "to begin to draw the guidelines of consensus to achieve efficient ordinances, adapted to the reality of the municipality and solve various problems of coexistence that have been dragging, to which this government wants to respond" .

After these meetings and after collecting the first data and contributions, will immediately proceed to the publication of both edicts on the website of the City Council, in order to publicize the start of the process, while this publication is put the collection, by the established channels, of citizen contributions, of groups, associations and interested parties in general, thus giving fulfillment to the initial process of citizen participation, as it is prescriptive.

"It is well known that the occupation of the public thoroughfare with tables and chairs is an aspect that is especially concerned with neighbors, presenting nowadays, with the existing regulation, anomalies that are difficult to fit and therefore not solvable, in order to harmonize the coexistence between neighbors and the own interests of the economic activities of the hotel sector ".

On the other hand, with the amendment of the ordinance of fords, the government team intends to provide normative coverage to requests for fords or reserves of spaces that in the current and old ordinance are not contemplated and that, with this in hand, only fit the absolute negative.

Saorin stressed that he expects active participation and suggestions and contributions from citizens, "because our desire as a government is that citizens actively participate, once again, in the regulation and resolution of the various problems of our people, as well as comply to all established processes of Citizen Participation, a reality that this executive welcomed and will not abandon. "
