This is an action that has enabled the hiring of 12 bricklayers, specifically, young unemployed beneficiaries of the Youth Guarantee Program.
The total investment planned is 89,966 euros and the execution period is six months.
The City of Cieza, through the Department of Employment and Economic Development, has begun in recent days the work referred to in the memory of local public employment 'Interior Adaptation of the Municipal Market and the Farmer's Center'.
The works will cost 89,966 euros to be paid by the Regional Employment and Training Service of the Region of Murcia (87,834 euros) and the City of Cieza (2,132 euros).
The cost of the materials amounts to 25,000 euros and is fully contributed by the Consistorio ciezano.
The execution period is six months.
The project consists of adapting the facilities of the Municipal Market, located next to the Mariano Rojas Municipal Sports Center, and the Farmer's Center, on the ground floor of the Infoem building.
This will allow the execution of tasks of demolition and cleaning, demolition and construction of partitioning, interior flooring, plastering and painting of walls and ceilings.
For the mayor Pascual Lucas and the councilman of the branch Antonio Moya, these actions "respond to the needs of the City of Cieza to reform and adapt the Municipal Market and the Farmer Service Office in order to offer new facilities adapted to the demands of the agricultural and service sectors ".
Adds the Councilor for Employment and Economic Development that municipal facilities "must be conditioned as the deterioration they have suffered due to disuse in recent years makes its use unfeasible."
On the other hand, according to the mayor, "an internal redistribution of both spaces is contemplated more in line with the services that will be offered".
Thus, the Municipal Market will house the future Center for Young Entrepreneurs and the space for the employment shuttle;
and the Farmer's Center will host the agricultural organizations COAG, with the Office of Attention to the Farmer;
UPA and cooperatives, where it is expected that the center or single marketing point will be installed.
In addition, work will be carried out to adapt the so-called first opportunity building, adjacent to the Infoem training rooms, and together with EDUSI, all the necessary tools will be provided to this municipal installation as well as to the 'coworking' space.
