The Councilor for Finance, Antonio Ignacio Martínez-Real, has appeared before the media as a spokesman for the government team to take stock of the ordinary plenary held on Tuesday at the City of Cieza.
The mayor has referred to the "important" regulatory changes as the initial approval of the modification of the ordinance that regulates the vehicle tax, increasing in a "considerable" way the bonuses for electric and hybrid cars, highlighting that "it is established for the first 75 percent, the maximum bonus allowed by law, and 66% for the second. "
In his opinion, "this is a clear commitment by this government to encourage the use of non-polluting vehicles, improving the quality of the city and its surroundings."
He also wanted to highlight the initial approval of another ordinance, which will regulate the transfer of public premises to associations, as well as their use, a text that, in the words of Martínez-Real, "has been prepared in an open manner to the participation of the society, and that establishes clear and transparent criteria when making transfers of premises, which demonstrates the line of a government that believes in participation and transparency ".
In his speech before the media he also referred to the "dialogue and consensus of this government team, something that was demonstrated with the approval of the new agreement of conditions for municipal workers that has had the unanimous agreement of all the unions, after a negotiation process that also opened the doors to the opposition municipal groups. "
On the other hand, according to the mayor, "we are still suffering the effects of the urban policy of the PP based on urban agreements and land speculation, proof of this, the recent ruling that declared null the agreement with Cieza Golf, for not being justified water resources, and condemned the City Council to pay 600,000 euros, and that is currently in the process of appeal, for all of this, in order to avoid further litigation for the City, as well as with the intention of generating jobs and to attract new companies, the resolution of the Benís agreement was agreed upon in full, reversing the PP urban model that has brought nothing good to Cieza, neither work nor tourism, and moving from the model of the economy of speculation to the new model of productive economy that this government brings, leaving the door open for new companies that can generate jobs to come to our city. "
Regarding the motions presented by the opposition, Martínez-Real reiterated that "the spirit of dialogue and consensus of this government team was clear when approving the motion of Citizens, previously agreed upon, in relation to the protocol for the use of networks social, as well as collecting the CCCi proposal on the Maripinar grove to which was added an addition of the PP also collected by this government ".
Regarding the rejection of another proposal of the PP on the old town, the spokesman of the municipal government has explained "the imminent actions in Calvario Street, Cuesta del Río, Cuesta de la Villa and repair of loose slabs, as well as the already concluded performance in all the Hontana street wall, solving an old problem at its roots ".
In his assessment of the November plenary, he concluded by stating what he considers a positive aspect and a negative aspect: "On the one hand, the historical fact that representatives of the Municipal Council for Children intervened in the Plenary Session of the City Council of Cieza and, on the other hand, the departure of the Popular Party councilor, Francis Piñera, who, regardless of the different political ideas, has done a great job for the people of Cieza always from the dialogue and good mood.
