The general secretary of Podemos, Óscar Urralburu, met Monday with the mayor of the town and the councilmen of Cieza Can, Miguel Gual and Pilar Martínez.
With them, he has reviewed the main problems of the municipality, among which is to budget the construction of a bridge between El Jinete and La Parra to join the two sides of the river for both workers and agricultural vehicles.
Urralburu has listened to the main demands of both the mayor of Cieza and the councilors of Cieza Can in the City Council.
One of the projects most demanded by the region is the realization of a bridge that facilitates the connection between the two banks of the river.
According to the secretary-general of Podemos, "it is essential to unblock the urban area through which the agricultural roads now have to pass, in addition, it would greatly facilitate the transit of workers in the area and give a boost to the local economy."
Also, as another of the great claims of the people of Cieza, is the Ascoy collector.
Óscar Urralburu explained that it is an industrial collector that crosses the town and "invades a strong smell all Cieza."
For both projects, Podemos' parliamentary spokesman is committed to reaching agreements with the rest of the groups for funding in the next budgets of the CARM.
On the other hand, Óscar Urralburu has met with Miguel Martínez, president of the Central Union of Irrigators of Cieza and Calasparra.
We can work in the Regional Assembly to comply with what the irrigators of the Vega Media ask, which is what Urralburu said, "the provisional opening of the drought wells, we have to keep the fruit trees alive, there must be a harvest So, we support this exceptional measure without forgetting that it is something timely. We are facing the failed policy of the Popular Party, a model that has proved to be a failure and that we are not going to let it get ahead of us. the farmers".
Finally, Óscar Urralburu, general secretary and parliamentary spokesman of Podemos Región de Murcia, wanted to highlight the "work well done" of the two councilmen of Cieza Can, Miguel Gual and Pilar Martínez.
They are, Urralburu stressed, "an example of what a government of change has to be in. Besides Madrid, Barcelona or Cádiz, in the Region we can feel very proud of Santomera, Molina de Segura, Cehegín, and of course, Cieza Here we have assumed competencies such as the Popular University, the Craft Museum, the Medina Siyasa project and we have made the City Council, through the work of our councilors of Cieza Can, the most transparent in Spain. example of how to serve citizenship differently and do it well ".
For his part, the councilman of Cieza can, Miguel Gual has stressed that "it is very important that the regional government deals with the problems of Cieza, especially the Ascoy collector and the construction of the bridge, nobody wants to build and that for us is essential for the people to grow and develop.
