Concerts, workshops, children's musicals and sporting events are part of the range of options offered by the Christmas program starting on Wednesday with the inauguration of the municipal nativity scene.
For its development, and for the first time, the Cieza City Council has unified the activities of the municipal areas of Culture, Commerce, Youth, Sports and the Elderly.
The mayor of Cieza, Pascual Lucas, presented the Christmas program 2017/2018 with which the City will develop a total of 52 activities in which proposals for all ages will fill the city with life until January 6.
As the councilor has advanced, "we want to offer a leisure alternative in which all the neighbors feel part of Christmas, with very varied events and workshops aimed at all types of public.The programming is divided by sectors so that anybody can choose the activity that you like the most ".
Lucas has valued the programming as "very special" because, in his opinion, "all the councils that launch Christmas activities have come together to project a unique program." Culture, Commerce, Youth, Sports and the Elderly are the main legs of this beautiful campaign. "
He also expressly thanked the "involvement" of the councilors of the different areas when setting up a campaign whose axis is the light on emblematic sculptures of Cieza.

Among the main proposals, the mayor wanted to highlight the Christmas proclamation of December 17, the musical Disney played by Ascopas (day 21), the Christmas Concert of the Ars Nova Choir (day 25) or the traditional concerts of the Band of the School of Music and the Municipal Band of Cieza (days 27 and 28).
Among the highlights of this Christmas are two shows: the ballet in two acts' Giselle ', which will take place on December 15, at 9:00 pm, at the Capitol Theater and the children's play' Zascanduri.
