The Department of Employment and Economic Development is carrying out in Cieza for the first time the training called 'Basic operations of restaurant and bar', certificate of professionalism level I that is aimed at unemployed workers in the hospitality sector.
Subsidized by the Sef and co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF), training has a budget of 19,215 euros.
The course, which this week received the visit of the mayor, Pascual Lucas, and the owner of this municipal area, Antonio Moya, collects a teaching load of 210 theoretical-practical hours taught in the Infoem classrooms and in the Club de Tenis restaurant of Cieza
Students who pass this theoretical-practical phase will perform 80 hours of non-working professional practices in companies in the area of ​​the catering sector.
A total of 15 students participate in the course.
Within this training action "very beneficial" for the service sector of the town, will work issues such as the basic service of restaurant and bar, application of standards and hygienic-sanitary conditions in restoration, use of the basic endowment of the restaurant and assistance in the pre-service, preparation and service of drinks and fast foods in the bar, provisioning, drinks and fast foods, among others.
Classes began on November 22 and will end on February 16, 2018.
With this course of basic operations of restaurant and bar a new training offer starts in the municipality of Cieza with certificates of professionalism within the hotel services, thus diversifying the offer of certificates of professionalism that has already been implemented by the Department of Development Economic and Employment in the services of renewable energies, electricity and gardening, as well as in the agricultural sector.
Following this line of diversification, the council headed by Antonio Moya received last Monday the communication of the provisional grant of two new training offers for unemployed workers category II: 'Plumbing and heating-domestic air conditioning' and 'Cleaning in open spaces and industrial facilities. '
