The Governing Council, on the proposal of the Ministry of Finance and Public Administration, today approved the signing of a collaboration agreement between the Community and the Spanish Radio and Television Corporation (RTVE).
The purpose is to broaden the coverage of state public radio by installing a relay center in the telecommunications site owned by the Community located in the Sierra de Ascoy, from which it can offer a better service to the municipality of Cieza.
The Autonomous Community has among its objectives to favor, within its territorial scope, the ideal conditions for the development of infrastructures and services that integrate and make possible the Information Society.
The Spanish Radio and Television Corporation is entrusted with the public service of state broadcasting and seeks to ensure that the broadcasts of Radio Nacional de España have the maximum territorial coverage in order to offer their services properly.
