On March 19, the municipal government starts the participatory process of the Works and Services Plan 2018-2019, in which citizens will be able to choose, from among three major actions, which of them is finally carried out.
The remaining actions will be chosen through the demands of the neighborhood associations of the municipality.
The Councilor for Works, Francisco Saorín, explained that "the amount that finances this biannual edition of the Works and Services Plan is 502,608 euros, and the commitment of this government is that the reinforcement of the road network and drainage on municipal roads N -301, Cañada de la Horta and Cuesta del Búho, the evacuation of the rainwater and improvement of the drainage in the athletics track and the paving of the Zarandona neighborhood and access, are the three possible options that the neighbors will have to choose which of them it will be finally executed. "
On the other hand, the mayor of Participación Ciudadana, Nerea Martínez, has indicated that "starting on Monday, March 19, we will enable, on the one hand, physical urns in the Padre Salmerón Municipal Library and the Géneros de Punto Cultural Center, and on the other hand , a specific section on the municipal website www.cieza.es where there will be an online form to choose which of these three proposals has the support of most of the population. "
Martínez clarified that "the rest of the actions will come directly from the demands of the neighborhood associations of the municipality, which were informed in the recently created Council of Neighborhood Relations, from which the associations, in their respective assemblies, collected proposals that they are in the process of being valued by the municipal technicians to specify which ones have a place in the terms established in the Works and Services Plan ".
In short, "once again, the municipal government gives voice and vote to the neighbors through various mechanisms so that we can build together the Cieza that we really want", conclude both councilors.
