The Ministry of Public Works and Planning will allocate more than three million euros to build a new road that will connect the northwestern town of Cieza in Murcia, Albacete motorway (A-30).
The work, which is currently being recruited, will avoid passing through the town of Cieza direct traffic from the highway in the Northwest and also will give the town a new access from the north through the A-30 .
Specifically, it is expected a new tranche of 1,285 meters long near the town of Cieza, between MR-B19 (which connects with Calasparra Cieza, through the RM-714) and the A-30 (Cartagena Albacete).
As indicated by the Director General of Highways, Jose Guijarro, "will be a connecting road in running at a speed of 80 miles per hour and will seek a more fluid and safe travel in more than a million displacement that records the RM- B19 a year. "
Thus, drivers will not have to go through a mandatory population to move towards the highway, thanks to the conditioning of the road in the vicinity of mile 2.
There are future plans for this road junction, which is a variant that bypasses the town of Cieza direct traffic from the highway west from the RM-532.
At the beginning and end of the stage will be two new roundabouts, 35 and 50 feet inside diameter respectively.
"It is an area with intense agricultural activity, so that improvements should also positively affect the economic development of such farms located around the current RM-B19, as the new infrastructure will improve the accessibility of the paths that directed towards the adjoining properties, "he said Guijarro.
