This residence became operational in August 1985, in the district of San José Obrero ciezano with the aim of providing comprehensive care and permanent housing for people over 60 years, which by their family problems, social and / or economic, can not be treated in their own homes.
This is a coed dorm, since older people are cared for self, and to those who need assistance to perform activities of daily living.
Places are available for both valid and assisted.
The school management is private, in concert with the public administration.
The residence has a capacity of 162 beds in four buildings.
The number 1 for residents assisted with the principle of some form of dementia.
2 for residents or semiválidos valid.
3 for assisted with dementia of any kind.
And the 4 for large assisted or requiring special aid physical impairments.
Currently, all beds are occupied.
The center's staff totals 99 employees, including two doctors, five nurses and 60 nursing assistants.
The residence also offers services for socio cultural, hairdressers, cafeteria and library.
Also, since February 1999, the Board also operates a shelter for pedestrians, in collaboration with the Municipality of Cieza, where you can stay, breakfast, lunch and dinner at the residence.
