Nature's Classroom "The Watchtower" of Cieza host during the weekend of 4 to 6 November, the annual meeting of Ecologists in Action-Region of Murcia.
Three days in which the environmental organization has scheduled addition, various activities, creating an "Action Weekend."
On Friday afternoon there will be a meeting with Cieza 15M movement, and on Saturday morning a guided tour of the garden and the environment of the river Segura, visiting some of the monumental trees and groves in the area.
The centerpiece will be the general meeting to be held on Saturday afternoon.
Pedro Luengo, regional coordinator of the environmental organization, explains that "the annual meeting is a meeting point for members and partners, to review the work done during the past year and planning for the next".
Luengo explains that from the environmental organization seeks a different place each year to celebrate the assembly, it adds, "we know the demands and environmental issues relevant to each area, and it especially through the participation of our partners" .
On Sunday morning the Assembly will close 2011 with industrial action.
Ecologists in Action, Murcia Region is a regional federation, part of Ecologists in Action, confederal organization made up of about 300 environmental groups distributed by towns and cities throughout the state.
Ecologists in Action forms part of a social ecology, which means that environmental problems are rooted in a model of production and consumption increasingly globalized, which also derive from other social problems.
