The Civil Guard in the region of Murcia has developed an investigation into the commission of robberies in the suburbs of Cieza that has resulted in the arrest of a person.
So far three have been clarified crimes of burglary in inside the vehicle and one count of robbery with violence, and is also suspected of criminal injuries for assaulting an officer.
The Civil Guard initiated an investigation to detect the increase in the commission of robberies in the interior of vehicles parked near the cemetery of Cieza in order to eradicate and stop those responsible.
With this investigation it was illegal to know how to act in this type of theft and to identify the individual who was behind these crimes.
Modus operandi
Investigated thefts were committed in the vicinity of the cemetery of Cieza.
The objective personal belongings were found inside parked vehicles.
The commission took place during the night and early morning to avoid detection by using force to enter into and steal vehicles and personal effects and money, documentation, accessories and clothing.
In one of the monitoring devices set by the Civil Guard at the scene of the robberies, the suspect arrested for one of the agents was injured as a result of the struggle with the detainee, undertaking the suspect fleeing on foot.
Then the agents were able to locate the suspect of the robbery investigation proceeding to his arrest and brought to justice.

As part of this research has proceeded to the arrest of a person on suspicion of offenses of burglary, robbery and intimidation and injury, identified as:
- Moroccan, 32, who lives in Cieza.
The detainee has a history of committing crimes.
The detainee and the proceedings initiated have been made available to the Court of Instruction No. 1 of Cieza (Murcia).
