Robberies committed against vehicles occupied by its users
The detainee has numerous precedents for committing similar crimes
The Guardia Civil Murcia has developed an investigation into the commission of several robberies in the suburbs of Cieza that has resulted in the arrest of the alleged suspect.
So far two have been clarified offenses, robbery with violence and intimidation and burglary in vehicle interior, not excluding her authorship in more crimes.
The Civil Guard began research to detect the increase in thefts inside vehicles parked near the cemetery Cieza to reach those responsible for these acts.
Modus operandi
Investigated thefts were committed in the vicinity of Cieza Cemetery.
The objective personal effects were found inside parked vehicles.
The commission took place during the night and early morning to avoid detection, using force to access the inside of the vehicle and thus steal money, documentation, accessories and clothing.
Moreover, the alleged perpetrator did not care that the vehicles were occupied by their users, also committing robberies and intimidation of victims.
Thanks to the cooperation of citizens, Civil Guard officers were able to identify the individual who was behind the crimes investigated, then establishing a monitoring device on the area frequented by the suspect which resulted in the location, arrest and subsequent provision court.
Arrested:
As part of this research has been carried out to arrest a person on suspicion of crimes of robbery with violence and intimidation and robbery, identified as:
- Moroccan 32-year-old resident Cieza.
The suspect has a history of committing criminal offenses.
The arrest and the proceedings initiated have been made available to the Court of Instruction No. 2 of Cieza (Murcia).
