PSOE Municipal spokesman Pascual Lucas, accompanied by Councilman José Luis Sánchez and Secretary Francisco municipal politics in Luena met Wednesday afternoon with the new Board of COAG-IR.

During the meeting that lasted more than two hours, officials reported agrarian organization of work developed and existing needs to continue providing services to farmers ciezanos.

Pascual Lucas, stressed the need for the Council to prioritize investment in productive economic sectors and agriculture in a strategic sector for employment that labor demand trained and qualified.

In this regard, both sides concluded the need to reorient local training policy, allocating resources to the training of farm workers who are suing the sector.

"Many times we find workers who can not hire because they lack basic training safe driving the tractor or application of pesticides", farmers protesting.

Furthermore, it was found the large number of requests for training currently exists, unemployed persons, which can not be met by limited financial resources.

Another issue discussed was the need to expedite the paperwork at the time of obtaining licenses for earthmoving, agricultural construction, reparcelaciones, and all operations necessary for farming.

In this sense, Pascual Lucas argued the need to make available a protocol agricultural organizations procedures which provide useful information to farmers for agile handling procedures, and the commitment of local government to reduce the time to resolve and bring the General Urban Plan to the real needs of the agricultural sector.

Finally, the importance of the ongoing work of the farmer service office, and materialize the need to provide more resources and especially stability over time.

This Pascual Lucas vowed to take various initiatives in Parliament to get a multi-year agreement with sufficient funding to ensure the provision and consolidation of this public service to farmers in Cieza.

The statement concludes PSOE, thanking the new Board of COAG-IR the magnificent work being done and wish him every success in his administration that undoubtedly will benefit all ciezanos.
