On September 7, the Territorial Assembly of Union Progress and Democracy, held internal elections to appoint 18 delegates representing the Autonomous Community of Murcia in the next Congress UPyD.
The election had a high share of over 60% of its members, which the lawyer, Oscar Verdejo and triathlete, Raimond Ruiz, were elected to participate in the II National Congress to be held in Madrid from 1 to 3 November.
They will be 500 delegates from all over Spain to discuss and approve the policy and statutory presentation that should mark the course of the game for the next four years.
The transparency of the process encouraged them to be 40 applications that were submitted to represent the region in Murcia, rewarding the good atmosphere and camaraderie of participants who came from different parts of the region, and that showed their support for our fellow citizens.
From Cieza UPyD we welcome this great news, and we take to give congratulations to our colleagues and to other elected delegates, and in general to all candidates and voters to contribute to this great day which certainly enriched us as a party.
The choice of Verdejo and Raimond Oscar Ruiz is an antidote to the policy that they and Cieza UPyD been developing over the years, where the work of opposition, without representation in the Consistory ciezano, is highly valued and recognized by all components of the training magenta, both within and outside the city of Cieza.
