The Guardia Civil of the Region of Murcia has frustrated this morning the commission of a robbery at a bank branch in Cieza, and has arrested the alleged perpetrator.
Around noon today, the Meritorious received notice of the commission of an alleged robbery at a bank branch in Cieza, so, immediately, several service patrols have moved to the office to verify the information received and, where appropriate, preventing the completion of the theft.
Once in the branch, specialized civil guards safety prevention have been located in one of the units the alleged robber, who was searching drawers and cupboards, so that agents have started negotiations to avoid anyone getting hurt, and which was unknown at that time if carrying weapons and what type.
Finally, after checking that the now unarmed arrest of any kind, we have proceeded to his arrest on suspicion of the crime of armed robbery, without the employees, the agents have arrested and injured.
As part of the proceedings it was determined that the arrested had intimidated office employees, reaching threaten to "prick" with an object hidden inside his jacket if you gave him money.
However, after his arrest, it was confirmed that no weapons or objects of any kind.

- Spanish, 33 years and resident of Cieza.
The arrested has a criminal record.
