The Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities has invested 55,000 euros in the refurbishment of the College of Education and Primary Christ of Consolation in Cieza, and have involved the construction of a retaining wall earth and other performances this center, next to the CEIP Jerome Belda, and saw extended its facilities last year with a new joint pavilion, with classrooms Children for the first and a gym for the second, with an investment of nearly 1.2 euros.
The secretary general of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities, Manuel Sánchez Marcos, and the Director General of Education Centres, María Dolores Valcárcel, today visited the center accompanied by the mayor, Antonio Tamayo, in order to see first hand the infrastructure Cieza educational and analyze the beginning of the school year.
During the meeting, municipal representatives and the Council discussed the state of the infrastructure of the municipality and projected new works for further improvement in the '+ Educational Quality + School Success' strategy.
During the past year, further improvement works were undertaken in the CEIP José Marín, for a total amount of 36,270 euros, and are being analyzed other investments.
