The Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities and the city of Cieza today introduced the programming cycle auteur, in collaboration with the Regional Film Francisco Rabal de Murcia will be screened every Thursday at 20:00 pm in Cieza Capitol Cinema from November 6.
The director general of the Institute of Cultural Industries and Arts, Marta Lopez-Briones, and the Councillor for Culture of Cieza, Angela Fernando Garcia reported on the program seven films to be screened until December, among which past productions include 'Bad Hair' by Mariana Rondon, and 'Holy Gra' by Gianfranco Rosi, winning in some of the best festivals, along with classic films like 'Viridiana' Luis Buñuel 'Stagecoach', mythical John Ford western.
Marta Lopez-Briones said: "With this new cycle, the Ministry continues with its philosophy to decentralize culture, working with municipalities to complete the programming of different centers."

The cycle will start on Thursday, November 6 with a screening of 'Bad Hair' (Venezuela, 2013), a film directed by Mariana Rondon who won last year's Golden Shell for Best Film at the Film Festival in San Sebastian which chronicles the problems of acceptance to a homosexual boy both outside and within their own family faces.
'Holy Gra' (Italy, 2013) directed by Gianfranco Rosi and winner of the Golden Lion for Best Film at the Venice Film Festival in 2013, will run on November 13 and the next week, the 20th, will be screened one of the films most successful, in recent years, "Borgman '(Holland, 2013), winner of the Festival of Sitges.
The first classic will be screened on November 27 and will be the John Ford western 'Stagecoach' (USA, 1939), a film of this year's 75th anniversary of its release is held.
The story of the novice 'Viridiana', shot by Luis Buñuel in 1961 will be on December 4th and the 11th will be dedicated to war movies with 'Paths of Glory' (USA, 1957), filmed by Stanley Kubrick starring Kirk Douglas.
The auteur cycle will close on December 18 of the best films of Yasujiro Ozu family drama 'Tokyo Story' (Japan, 1953).
All films will be screened at 20:00 am in Conference Room B of the Capitol Theatre Cieza in original version with subtitles in Castilian.
